The Dr Newman Clinic was founded by Dr Brian Newman M.D., F.R.C.S in 1998. Dr Newman is one of the UK’s most experienced surgeons.

For many years Dr Newman has helped people suffering from rosacea and thread veins on the face and legs.

Dr Newman graduated in medicine from Manchester University in 1968. In 1973 he became a fellow of The Royal College of Surgeons and obtained his M.D. in 1977. He is a general and vascular consultant surgeon. After completion of his higher surgical training Dr Newman worked as an NHS consultant general surgeon at the Royal Bolton Hospital and undertook treatment at a number of private hospitals in the North-West of England. Since resigning from the NHS he has concentrated his work on non-invasive and minimally invasive day surgery.

Dr Newman is probably most well-known for developing the highly acclaimed thermocoagulation technique (Veinwave) to treat leg spider veins, facial veins and rosacea, and has trained surgeons all over the world in these techniques. He is has made several high profile appearance on TV/Radio and in National and International publications.

Dr Newman has been responsible for many innovative surgical techniques and also has an interest in natural health products pioneering in particular nutraceuticals for energy which were used successfully under his guidance by Lennox Lewis, Sally Gunnell OBE and Sir Steven Redgrave. Dr Newman is married with 5 children and has a passion for classic cars.
