MBChB, DCH, DRCOG, MCRCGP
Dr K Stainer MBchB DCH DRCOG MCRCGP qualified in Bristol in 1988. He has been a GP partner at the Falloden Way Medical Centre since 1994, where he also performs vasectomies for the Avon Vasectomy service. With a special interest in minor surgery, Dr Stanier has performed the majority of the practice’s skin surgeries over the last twenty years.
Since 2007, he has been the GP lead for the GP Care Private Minor Surgery service. Much of his dermatological surgery involves the use of radiofrequency diathermy to cut or remove skin lesions and treat blood vessel under the skin. Familiarity with this type of equipment alongside experience of the aesthetics of dermatological surgery on the face made the addition of performing the Veinwave procedures a natural step.
As a General Practitioner with a special interest in skin disorders, Dr Stainer is very familiar with the problems associated with disorders such as rosacea, and the effects of sun damage and ageing, which can cause visible thread veins on the face.
