At Dr Newmans Clinic in Exeter, we specialise in the treatment of thread veins using various methods, including Veinwave treatment. Thread veins, also known as spider veins, are tiny dilated blood vessels that appear close to the surface of the skin, usually in a web-like pattern. They can be red, blue, or purple in colour and are commonly found on the face, legs, and other areas of the body.

Thread vein removal Exeter

At our Exeter clinic, the main thread vein removal treatment we offer is Veinwave. Veinwave is a non-invasive treatment method that uses high-frequency microwaves to target and eliminate thread veins. The treatment involves inserting a fine needle into the affected vein, and then the microwaves are applied to heat and collapse the vessel. This process is relatively quick and pain-free, making it a popular choice for thread vein removal.

We also offer Micro Sclerotherapy and can treat varicose veins alongside our sister company, UK Vein Clinic, at various locations across the country. So, whether you are looking for thread vein removal in Exeter to improve your skin health or for medical reasons, we can help.

Custom Skin Analysis Exeter

The removal of thread veins on the face can sometimes require a more holistic approach to your skincare. For patients that have other skin conditions such as rosacea, acne, skin redness or hyperpigmentation, additional skincare support may be needed to enhance your thread vein removal results.

That’s why at Dr Newmans Clinic our primary appointments are designed as an opportunity for us to run a diagnostic assessment of your skin. Our Exeter clinic now offers a custom skin analysis using the Skin OBSERV® machine to scan and assess your skin needs.

Using the transformative Obagi products, our approach helps your skin get the extra care it deserves.
