Dr Elaine Guirey

Dr Guirey qualified from the University of Sheffield in 2013. She has worked multiple hospital specialties since qualifying and in General Practice in Sheffield for the past 6 years, she is well established at Oakhill Medical Practice. Dr Guirey teaches medical students in General Practice modules at Sheffield University.  

Since qualifying Dr Guirey has developed a special interest in minor surgical procedures following several roles in surgical and A&E posts.  She performs shoulder and knee joint injections in her role as a GP. She also has an interest in women’s health: providing contraceptive and Hormone Replacement Therapy services and is responsible for fitting and changing all ring pessaries at her practice. Dr Guirey is also experienced in neonatal and maternal post natal examinations.

Dr Guirey provides Veinwave and Micro Sclerotherapy treatment for spider veins from our clinics in Manchester, Leeds and Sheffield.
